Our Open and Airy Sanctuary

Sunday Morning Worship

Worship is the heart and soul of our communal life; it is a joy to gather as one body. We come together every Sunday morning at 10:30 AM to sing, share, and affirm our connection to each other and to a faith that requires us to embody compassion, to seek justice and to practice humility in the presence of the "great mystery" at the heart of life.

Music is an integral part of our worship; we are a singing congregation! Our Director of Music, Meg Irwin-Brandon, fills the sanctuary with amazing sound each Sunday as she plays on our magnificent pipe organ and grand piano. Meg also directs our excellent choir which sings at every other service.

Children attend the first twenty minutes of worship. Each Sunday the minister or lay worship leader engages our young people directly on a theme related to our service. They then go with their teachers to their Religious Education classes.

Our minister, the Reverend Georganne Greene, is the primary leader of our worshiping community. We have, however, a long-standing tradition of lay led services, attesting to the importance of the community’s active participation in worship. Services during the months of July and August are exclusively created by members of our congregation.
